Swamp Palace is the solo project for, Rhode Island based artist and multi-instrumentalist, Zak Castle. This composition showcases his talents utilizing the Guitarviol (bowed guitar), Bass, Electric, Drones, and other instruments.

"This progressive rock album seeks to meld modern sensibilities with the style of the titans of the 70s. A journey of moonlit secrets and magic, vaguely inspired by the cycle of birth and death, attachment, and seeking solace by gazing at the moon during the turmoils of a dark night of the soul.

Initially recorded and mixed almost entirely by one person on a single track, the album’s goal is to comfort and thrill, like a loving mother telling you a fantastical story in the dark of a rainy night. "

"Sojourner House is a nonprofit organization founded in 1976 by Providence residents and Brown University students who were concerned about what was then a silent epidemic: domestic and sexual violence. Thanks to the efforts of our many supporters, Sojourner House has grown from a part-time, volunteer hotline into a provider of comprehensive services available to victims of abuse 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We’ve taken steps to determine how best to prioritize our future efforts to help those who are most isolated due to abuse, as well as efforts to improve systemic and institutional responses to people in abusive" relationships.
