MARKING & PLATING's 4th release is a collection of love/hate letters to their home city of Austin, Texas. Taking inspiration from individual songs by underground/alternative ATX artists from the 80's onward, the duo continues with their unique mixing of No Wave noise and earworm electro-hooks to produce not "cover songs" but brand spanking new tracks celebrating crafty creative Old Austin while protesting dystopian destructive New Austin.

Reimagining tracks by Dicks, Roky Erickson, Daniel Johnston, Butthole Surfers, Agony Column, Spoon, The American Psycho Band, Ghostland Observatory, Cotton Mather, Glass Eye.
