The album progresses through the captured sounds of “Bells Ringing, Bells Tolling” and “Bare Bulb” steadily introducing more noise on “Thought I knew” and “Anything You Want”. “Skin Like Ghosts” stands out with swelling melodies like a sound bath of synthesis and lush textural progressions. “Above the cloud” has a deep beauty in organic sound and melody penetrated by raw waves of noise exemplifying the ever present anxiety of the modern human condition. Ultimately the album resolves with “The Death I Know” and “My Day Will Come” each reinforcing the scope of themes the album has been building to.
